Wild Animal Lagoon

This animal adventure-themed mini golf course is fun for the entire family, and you might just be surprised how difficult it is to hit par on some of these holes!

Blue Rock Golf Course

This award-winning course is part of the Blue Rock Resort but open to the public! They offer two putting and chipping greens and a full-service Pro Shop. Blue Rock is truly a course for all ages and skill levels with holes ranging from 103 to 255 yards. They’re known for their #9 hole, a 169 yard shot over water. You might miss the kidney shaped green on your first few tries at hole #9! A round of golf at this lovely 18-hole course costs between $40 and $65.

Captains Golf Course

1000 Freemans Way, Brewster, MA

This fun 36-hole course in Brewster, the self proclaimed golf capital of the lower Cape, offers $69 tee times every day! Try a late pre-dinner round after 4pm for $35. Talk about affordable fun. Located conveniently off of the Mid-Cape highway, you don’t want to miss this course designed by golf course architect extraordinaire Brian Silva. Try booking a lesson with one of their PGA pros while you’re there!

Highland Links Golf Course

10 Highland Light Rd, North Truro, MA

One of the oldest courses in the area, The Highland Links is located in North Truro and dates all the way back to 1892! This brief 9-hole course with lighthouse views is a mere 2,665 yards. It’s a simple golfing experience with no clubhouse amenities, but it’s full of history and charm! Good luck choosing clubs with that Atlantic Ocean breeze. This course will keep you on your toes, and save you money with tee times for as low as $35.

Miacomet Golf Course

12 W Miacomet Rd, Nantucket, MA

Nantucket’s only public 18-hole golf facility, Miacomet Golf Course is located on what was once Wampanoag tribe land. “Miacomet” means “the meeting place,” and it’s a perfect name for this approachable and fun link-style course. Wide fairways, grassy knolls, and some lovely greens will be found on this 6,167-yard course. You just might get par! For an inexpensive beginner, experience takes advantage of the twilight rate, $80.

Cape Cod Country Club

Enjoy a classic Cape Cod golf experience at this public 18-hole championship course known for pristine greens and year round playing! This course is a bit on the challenging side, featuring a 165-yard hole that requires you to tee off over water and navigate around two bunkers protecting the green. You’ll want a good warm up before trying that hole!

Cranberry Valley Golf Course

This course may look fairly flat and easy, but don’t be deceived! You’re in for some surprises and fun on this public course. Tree-lined fairways provide a feeling of privacy and warmth, and though there’s no signature hole you’ll find several unexpected situations on the course, including the 12th hole which features a blind tee shot and a sloped green! The facility also features a large putting green, two chipping/pitching greens, and practice bunkers. It’s the ideal course for golfers of various skill levels!

Chatham Seaside Links

The Chatham Seaside Links was established in 1895, and is a favorite Cape Cod golfing experience for tourists and locals alike! Just minutes from the beloved Chatham Light beach, the course offers lovely views over the span of its 9 holes. It’s a challenging little course with historic charm and great tee time rates!

Dennis Pines Golf Course

50 Golf Course Rd, South Dennis, MA

This beautiful 18-hole course is challenging and varied, and notably covered with pine trees! The close-knit tree-lined fairways make it especially difficult for beginners who haven’t quite mastered their aim yet, but if you’re looking for a challenge you’re sure to feel a sense of accomplishment after completing the course! You can always spend time on their driving range and practice putting if the course proves to be a bit too challenging. We think it’s worth a try, though. That 12th hole is a doozy!
